Home inspections - radon tests - sewer scopes

Home Inspector. The Most Important Step Before You Buy

In today's competitive Colorado real estate market, a seller is rarely in a place to fix defects to sell their home.

This is causing buyers to skip a home inspection and that can be a costly mistake.

I recognize this risk and that's why I offer different inspection packages to fit you or your client's needs and budget.

I can also perform the other two most common testing services: Radon and Sewer Scopes - at a discount. These can be scheduled on the same day as the inspection.

Residential Home Inspections

Nervous about your property adventure? Don’t be. Whether you're buying or selling, a home inspection will tell you what the condition of the home is and prepare you for current or future repairs.

Hoodnu has no base rate based on square footage, charges a flat hourly rate and offers major component or full inspections options.

Radon Testing

Radon gas is a naturally-occurring byproduct of the radioactive decay of Uranium in the soil. According to the EPA, Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and is responsible for about 21,000 lung cancer deaths every year. You can’t see or smell radon. Testing is the only way to know your level of exposure.

Add a radon test on to any home inspection for just $100.

Sewer Scope

Sewer issues can be one of the worst and most expensive issues a home owner can experience.

Add a scope on for just $75 when booked with a home inspection.

Laura with Hoodnu Home Inspections is amazing at her job.  I have had 2 homes inspected by her and she always makes sure that a thorough and detailed inspection is executed.  She provides you with the completed report for reference and has identified some serious problems that saved us from having extensive home repair expenses if they had continued.

In our home in Denver she identified that the sprinkler system was leaking next to a basement wall which would have caused a support wall structure problems.  We had this repaired easily and it saved us money and headaches.  She did such an amazing job on this I flew her to AZ to inspect a home I was buying as a secondary home.

This home is newer and again, the inspection was thoroughly completed  giving me the peace of mind to move forward.  I would recommend Laura as the best choice to complete home inspection on any type of home to feel confident that you know all aspects of a structure new or old.

Absolute professional!  I hired Laura as my home inspector at the recommendation of friends and am grateful for her expertise.  She found a fault in my water heater, an unfinished electrical outlet and many other issues that I brought to my builder at my new construction inspection.  Laura even found a hidden GFI outlet to power the outdoor outlets that stumped the builder. She was thorough, kind and conscientious - highly recommend her to others!

Laura was AMAZING home inspector! My husband and I could not be more happy about our inspection. We had hired laura for our new homes inspection and a sewer scope. She had very competitive prices. Was very punctual, actual showed up before we did and started right away on the job. She did a 4 hour inspection so we know it was very thorough and nothing was missed.  She got our inspection result and sewer scope video that same afternoon which was even better. If you are looking for a great home inspector make sure to hire Laura! I know we will if we ever need one again.
